"Hard to find rides lately"
The app itself is fine, and I do like getting the trip receipts emailed to me, but lately it’s been really hard to find drivers in my area. I’ll wait around for way too long, and sometimes I just end up canceling and opening another ride app instead.

Just a heads up for anyone thinking of using this service, my driver was really rude and unprofessional. The whole experience felt uncomfortable, and I definitely wouldn’t want someone else to deal with the same attitude.
"Charged Me Anyway Even Though the Ride Didn’t Book"
I tried booking a ride and the payment failed, but somehow the money still got taken from my account. No ride, no confirmation, nothing. I was already running late, which made it even more frustrating, and then I had to figure out another way to get there. Random side note, this was right after I’d finally found my keys after tearing the whole house apart, so my patience was already gone. Really annoying experience...

"Refund still magically unresolved after weeks"
I had an issue with a ride and Careem told me the refund would be “checked,” which sounded reassuring at the time. I sent over all the details, screenshots, and whatever else they needed, because apparently doing all the work for support is part of the process now.
It’s been weeks and the money still hasn’t come back. Every response feels like the same copy-paste message, and then the chat gets closed like something was actually fixed. Lovely system, really. At this point, I don’t feel confident using Careem again.

"Still Waiting on Support"
I reached out to support and expected at least some kind of update, but days went by and I still never got a proper reply. It’s really frustrating when you’re left hanging like that, especially when you need help. I ended up feeling ignored and disappointed.

"Pickup pin was wrong again"
The pickup pin was wrong again, and the driver never came to where I was actually standing. What made it more frustrating was that there was no real human contact to help sort it out, just the app sending me in circles. I was stuck waiting and trying to explain something simple with no one actually available to fix it.

I don’t know if I’ve just had bad luck lately, but careem hasn’t been as reliable for me as it used to be. The app will say the driver is 5 minutes away, and then somehow it turns into 15 minutes or more. It’s not the worst thing ever, I guess, but when I’m already running late, it gets really annoying.

"Really unfair cancellation experience"
My driver canceled at the last minute, and somehow I still got charged for it. I reached out to support expecting them to make it right, but they were no help at all. it just feels wrong to charge a customer for something that wasn’t their fault

I used to feel like the prices were reasonable, but lately they’ve gotten way too high. Something just feels off now, and it’s hard to justify paying that much

"Price changed after the ride"
The app is usually convenient and I don’t mind using it, but this ride was frustrating. It showed me one fare when I booked, then I ended up being charged more after the trip with no clear explanation. I get that prices can change sometimes, but also… what’s the point of showing a price if it’s not actually the price? I contacted support and just got a generic copy-paste reply, which didn’t really help. Not the worst experience ever, but definitely not okay either.

"Delivery is never on time"
I’ve had this happen a few times now where the delivery just doesn’t show up when it’s supposed to. You end up waiting around with no updates, and it gets frustrating...

"Lost my trust after one bad ride"
I had a really uncomfortable ride, and the way the app handled it made everything feel even worse. The driver details weren’t clear enough, which already made me uneasy, and during the trip I just didn’t feel safe. I tried reaching out to support afterward, but the replies were slow and felt generic, like no one was actually taking it seriously. After that, I couldn’t really trust the app anymore, so I deleted it.

"Car was dirty"
The car just wasn’t clean. The seats were dusty, and there was a bad smell inside that made the ride unpleasant. I don’t think I’d book this one again.

"This app used to be a lot..."
This app used to be a lot better. Lately it keeps freezing, and half the time the buttons don’t even respond when I tap them. Trying to find a ride or change the pickup location feels way more confusing than it needs to be. I had to restart the app three times just to book one trip. It’s getting really frustrating and definitely needs some fixing

"Pretty reliable most of the time"
I use Careem a few times a week, and it’s been mostly fine for me. Most bookings go through without any fuss, drivers usually show up around the time the app says, and I do like being able to watch the car moving on the map and all that.
I’m giving it 4 stars only because every now and then a captain cancels after a few minutes, which is kinda irritating if I’m already running late. But yeah, overall it’s been dependable enough for my regular rides.
